ANDATA Lands in LA – The Bounce Invasion Begins
Something special is brewing on the West Coast, and it’s bouncing louder by the day. This Saturday, May 31st, Hamburg’s genre-melding duo @andata.music makes their long-awaited U.S. debut — and SoCal’s original bounce dealer is throwing the party to match. Known for their high-energy fusion of trance, hard groove, and 90s-inspired house, Dennis and Max (aka ANDATA) are spearheading a movement that’s picking up serious steam in the States — and especially here in Los Angeles. The duo’s dynamic sound — equal parts heartwarming and hard-hitting — is becoming a new pulse in dance music’s underground, and trust me, this wave is only just beginning.
Their recent EP ‘Warehouse Romance’ has already stirred up a buzz, and with a debut album dropping this summer featuring artists like 2HOT2PLAY and Kim Swim, it’s clear ANDATA isn’t here for the short ride. Co-signs from scene leaders like Amelie Lens, HI-LO, Narciss, Maceo Plex, and even Idris Elba have only further validated what’s already apparent to those watching closely — these guys are next up.

As someone who’s always been hesitant to write about the underground — partly because I believe it should stay sacred and untouched — this feels different. ANDATA’s sound represents something that deserves a spotlight. It’s raw, fresh, and emotionally charged. I saw this exact energy unfold during EDC weekend, when various acts lit up the dance floor with an unapologetically bouncy and melodic vibe. It was electric, and it made me realize: this isn’t just another trend. It’s a cultural shift that could expand what dance music can be.
For those of us who live for the discovery, for the feeling of hearing something new that shakes you to your core — this is it.
