The Return of a SoCal Summer Staple
After a multi-year hiatus and a brief international detour, Sun Soaked is finally making its long-awaited return to Southern California. Originally launched in the back half of the 2010s, this Kaskade-curated beach festival quickly became one of the most beloved summer events on the West Coast. Now, in 2025, Kaskade is teaming up with Insomniac to bring the magic back—this time planting its flag in Huntington Beach on Saturday, September 6. With the ocean breeze, sun-kissed vibes, and some of dance music’s finest artists in tow, Sun Soaked is shaping up to be the ultimate end-of-summer send-off.
A Lineup Built for the Beach
Kaskade isn’t holding back with this year’s lineup. Bass house enigma Malaa, the atmospheric mastery of Meduza, and party-starting duos SIDEPIECE and Walker & Royce are all set to join the festivities. The energy doesn’t stop there—Anabel Englund brings her sultry vocals and genre-blending sound, while UK rising star MPH is sure to keep the vibes high with his unique blend of bassline and house. Rounding out the lineup is SKILAH, who’ll no doubt keep the beach crowd moving from start to finish.
More Than Just Music
What makes Sun Soaked more than just another festival is its fully immersive experience. Expect the return of beach-friendly amenities like gourmet food trucks, refreshing drink options, and exclusive merch drops tailored for the coastal crowd. The 2018 edition in Long Beach left fans wanting more, and while a 2019 installment never materialized, Sun Soaked found temporary new life in Cancun with the Sun Soaked & Friend5 event alongside deadmau5. Now, back on California sand, the vibe promises to be as electric as ever—perhaps even better.
Sunsoaked '25
If you’ve been craving that signature Kaskade sunset moment or just want to dance barefoot in the sand to some of the best in electronic music, Sun Soaked 2025 is calling. Mark your calendar, grab the sunscreen, and get ready to dive into one of the most anticipated returns in SoCal festival history.
